What we’re doing to help keep you and us safe
Your safety is always of paramount importance when travelling with Centurion Travel. Our team are continuously monitoring and implementing the Government advice in relation to travel and the workplace to ensure we are doing everything that we can to keep you safe. For our existing and valued customers, there may be some small changes since last travelling with us. For our valued new customers, please do make yourself aware of the current mitigations we have in place to keep you safe while travelling with us. If you or any person(s) in your party has any questions for us regarding these adjustments, please do get in touch.
- Each of our vehicles are regularly treated with Virus Shield at a minimum frequency of every 30 days. Virus Shield is an effective treatment used across many venues including hospital operating theatres, food serving establishments and food manufacturers. Virus Shield is certified as safe for people, surfaces and the environment and is an accredited health and hygiene product. Virus Shield is unique in its ability to continue to kill viruses, bacteria and germs on contact for 30 days after treatment. A video showing the application process can be seen below.
- We are kindly requesting that social distancing measures in place onboard each of our vehicles, around our site and any venues we may be collecting you from, visiting with you or taking you to, are respected and adhered to while travelling with us.
- We also kindly request that every passenger onboard one of our vehicles wears a face covering for the duration of each journey with us.
- We are also asking our passengers to allow their driver to disembark the vehicle before alighting. The driver will exit the vehicle on arrival to your collection point/drop-off point/location and, we ask that you remain seated until your driver is 2 metres from the coach. Once the driver has socially distanced themselves from the vehicle doors, all passengers are welcome to board or disembark as usual.
- Additionally, and to avoid unnecessary contact, it with regret that your driver(s) will be unable to assist you with the stowage of any luggage until further notice. If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact the office at the time of booking.
- Until further notice, we have also removed from passenger use the row of (four) seats located behind the driver. This may cause you to receive a quotation for a larger vehicle than expected. For example, if you request a quotation for 29 passengers, you will receive a quotation for a 33-seat vehicle. This applies to both quotation requests and booking enquiries.
- For all private hire work, we are advocating communicate via means of email and telephone and as usual, payment for our services are being requested electronically (bank transfer) or, via a card payment taken over the phone. If you have any concerns or issues with this arrangement, please speak to a member of our team and we will endeavour to find a suitable, alternative method of payment.
